"What? you got front row seating?...I'm the DJ, I'm on the stage bro"

So it's vacation time (Easter holiday/mid-semesterbreak/spring vacation/ whatever you wanna call it) I know I haven't been updating as often as I would like, mostly due to the fact that I wasn't able to load this page, and therefore I have no recollection of the past couple weeks of the minor details which I love writing about ohhh soo much (no i wasn't intoxicated the entire time....just most of the time :-) ). But I will reminisce about some events that are still pretty in-tact in my brain. BEE-TEE-DUBS (btw/by the way) How's everything with you guys? chillen like a villain? or busy like a titty? (because...let's face it ladies, if you got them, I'm sure as hell you're keepin the twins busy in the nice weather out here and back in the states. And if you don't agree...well change it to 'busy like a kitty', and well guys would just think of something else for the 'kitty' part, don't blame us it's in our nature. And if you don't agree with that, well then you're just a bag of douche (Yeah I said it!)..............................................................................................................sorry I didn't mean that ladies, you love me :-D (Jedi mind trick)

SO back during Darsun's 25th surprise b-day I had the privilege of meeting another fellow dressed as the big D-man himself (costume party), Dharmesh or Dhams, and his beautiful wife Ashwina, or Ash, dressed as the Disco Diva...

SIDE NOTE: I just had an epiphany...the D+N party stood for Darsun Naran...WOWWW!!! do i feel retarded, my IQ just jumped up a point, it only took a few weeks.

...During the party I found out that Dhams had a identical twin brother named Bhavesh or Bo (beau works too) who was getting married to Sangita (Sangi) in a couple weeks. So I was invited to the Bo's stag (batchelor party) and it well there was supposed to be some good entertainment, sweet! So we went to the stag and long story short...BBQ was good, entertainment was OK, (Montreal and Vegas kinda set the bar up there for me), and a couple fights here and there, we ended up going into town. Overall not a bad night, mind you I'm sparing all the details cause well it's a Stag party, what happens there, stays there. So a week later or maybe two weeks later was the wedding, and the first day was the dinner. It was at the Indian cultural center called Mahatma Gandhi Center, and this place is pretty damn huge compared to the non-existent one's I've seen back in the States. I walked into the dining area and just a crap load of indians and i was like WHOA!...but apparently that was only half.
The next day was the wedding which was actually really well organized and nice compared to the 9 or 10 recent ones I been to in India. Estimated population: around 1500. oh ya! tons of people. And with tons of people at a wedding...there's PLENTY of eye candy. And lemme just comment on this. Indian chicks have honestly got to be God's greatest masterpiece...other than sliced bread...(you can't touch that kind of awesomeness) But yes I would love to argue that Indian women know how to dress up and make a traditional clothing such as a sari look hotter than the dice on a winning table of craps in Vegas. If you disagree then well you need to make a trip here. But yes the wedding was great. The list of events was good for those who did not understand the meanings of the ceremony. I wanted to take one home simply because it made it more interesting learning and knowing of how the tradition has been there for hundreds of years. It also gave an English translation of the name of the ceremonies. I've never really seen that or paid attention in any other wedding to notice it. It's shameful of me not knowing of it, well at least i do feel ashamed. I was brought up at boarding school in India for five years and was basically 'culturized' there. True, I was never taught about the wedding ceremonies and I know I may have been too young, but I've been to enough weddings in my life to at least know what comes first and last, but I never understood what's in between and  the meanings of them...sad guy!

It got sad at the very end obviously when the bride says her official goodbye to her family. During the weddings in India, this part I really never saw but I did see it during other weddings in the States. I was never affected nor did I ever feel that gulp in your throat that you get when you truly do feel sad. But this wedding, the gulp was there. I know exactly why it was much more sad during this wedding even though I wasn't related to anyone and neither did I know or meet anyone new other than the crew that was there, and I'm not gonna say it here just out of respect. Bo looked baller, Sangi looked amazing...and the ceremonies, people, and everything else in between were great. The speeches were great too. Bo's little cousin gave a speech. She was really young, maybe 3 or 4, and she's quite close to them too....reminded me of my little niece Rahni, back at home. Though i never met her, I imagine her to be just like Bo's little cousin when she turns 3: funny, intelligent, playful, and just an angel in a kids body.

After the wedding ceremonies were done, we headed to Bo's and Dhams' house for a few beers, something to kick back the long day they just had. They have a beautiful home, and amazing parents. Very friendly and very welcoming, just like all the parents I have met so far, just like all the people who I've met here. We all had a good laugh for a few hours before it was time to head home. The next day I don't remember what we did....

Well to tell you the truth...I'm out of ideas of what to write, writer's block i guess is what you call it. I mean im not claiming myself to be a writer so i guess this would be bloggers block? I guess mostly because I just watched an episode of House and one of the songs in the episode that came on while it was ending sorta hit me. So I guess you can say I'm thinking of ideas to write about my next entry...

I got it...
